OUR SERVICES
ISAIAH PEACE PROVIDES:
Residential Services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for Adult Individuals 18 years and older with Developmental Disabilities with a Mental Health diagnosis; and individuals with Autism. Therapeutic Recreation is an allied health profession which focuses on improving Individuals quality of life in physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual, with an emphasis on leisure needs through activity interventions.

- Initial and ongoing assessments of Individuals to determine their level of functioning within the program and to make changes in program goals and objectives as necessary, including the family and friends with involvement. It can be tough to find the balance between getting the help we need and having our independence at the same time. It takes a strong village, however we are up for the challenge
- To provide interventions when individuals experience problematic situations
- Encourage sizable independence in all areas life skills one step at a time to the best of each Individual’s ability
- Positive Instruction
- Innovative, transformative, and diverse services that nurture the potential of individuals of all abilities
- Participation in spiritual and religious activities (optional)
- To provide a family home environment designed to promote health and safe atmosphere that’s salubrious
- To motivate, advocate, encourage, assist and support self-advocacy for Individuals by providing inclusive community of interests and service
- Provide transportation when necessary
- Provide daily, weekly and or monthly documentation to support Individuals development
- Provide services that advance personal superior
- To help individuals develop compensatory strategies to better function in society
- Our services are structured and individualized to foster integrity through daily living skills, social opportunities, community engagement and job readiness which are provided regularly to increase each individual’s abilities
- Every interaction and activity is intended to teach, heal, or simply validate our Individuals experiences. Language is powerful! We emphasize Individuals abilities rather than instructing what they should not be doing
